Whether you are trying to jump on a quick spontaneous call or share a permanent virtual “office address” with clients, finding and customizing your permanent Zoom link—technically tied to your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) or Personal Link—is a breeze once you know where to look.

Unlike random one-off meeting links that expire, your custom Zoom link stays identical every time you use it. Here is a complete guide on how to locate your custom link across different devices, plus how to personalize it.

1. How to Find Your Custom Link (By Device)

Method A: Via the Zoom Desktop App (Mac & Windows)

If you already have the Zoom desktop application installed, your personal link is just a couple of clicks away:

  1. Open the Zoom app and sign in.
  2. Click on the Meetings tab at the top (or left-side panel depending on your layout).
  3. Look toward the top-right corner of the window for your Personal Meeting ID block or button, and click it.
  4. A small pop-up window will appear showing your personal meeting details.
  5. Hover over the Invite Link and click Copy Invitation or simply copy the URL directly to share it.

Method B: Via the Zoom Web Portal (Browser)

If you want to view, copy, or edit your link online, use the web dashboard:

  1. Go to zoom.us in your web browser and sign into your account.
  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Profile (to find your general PMI) or click on Meetings followed by the Personal Room tab.
  3. Under your Personal Room details, you will see your Invite Link.
  4. Click the Copy icon next to the URL to copy it instantly to your clipboard.

Method C: Via the Zoom Mobile App (iOS & Android)

On your phone or tablet:

  1. Open the Zoom app and tap the Meetings tab.
  2. Tap on your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) details or the information/options icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Your personal URL will be listed right there. You can tap Send Invitation or copy it directly to share via text message or email.

2. How to Make It Truly Custom (Personal Link)
